What to expect while peeling
- During
A warm, tingling sensation for a few minutes. The treatment itself takes under an hour.
- Days 1–2
Skin looks normal to slightly tight or pink.
- Days 3–5
Light to moderate peeling, depending on depth. Do not pick or pull.
- Days 6–8
Peeling finishes and fresher, brighter skin shows through.
Key prep & aftercare
- —Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids about 7 days before
- —No waxing, laser or sunburn in the treatment area beforehand
- —Tell Lady J about cold sores, isotretinoin use, pregnancy or nursing
- —After: gentle cleanser, the provided post-peel products and daily SPF
