Policies, safety & consent

Clear expectations make for a calmer treatment. Here is how we work, how we keep you safe, and how we handle scheduling and your information.

Our treatment approach

Consultation first, always

Every new client starts with a complimentary 10-minute consultation. We review your skin type, history and goals before anything touches your face.

Customized, never one-size-fits-all

Your Fitzpatrick type and current skin condition decide the treatment and the depth — including whether a Perfect Derma™ Peel is superficial or medium depth.

Progressive, not aggressive

We build results over a planned series with recovery time between visits, instead of pushing your skin past what it can heal from.

Home care is half the result

You leave with written pre-care and aftercare, and you can text Lady J during your healing week with questions or photos.

Safety & consent

  • Licensed esthetician — Commonwealth of Virginia. Aveda trained, Perfect Derma™ Peel and ProCell Microchanneling certified.
  • Written health history, consent and photo-release forms are completed before your first treatment.
  • Single-use and sanitized implements only; mobile setups are fully sanitized between appointments.
  • We ask about medications, isotretinoin use, active cold sores, pregnancy or nursing, allergies and recent treatments — some conditions mean we adjust or postpone.
  • Treatments are cosmetic skincare services. They are not medical care and do not diagnose or treat disease; we will refer you to a physician or dermatologist when that is the right call.
  • You may pause or stop any treatment at any point, and you can decline photos without affecting your service.

Health history and consent forms can be completed online or printed on our new client forms page. Chemical peel instructions live on the peel pre-care & aftercare guide.

Booking & deposits

  • All services are by appointment only — no walk-ins.
  • A card on file or deposit may be required to reserve mobile, event and group bookings.
  • Please arrive, or be ready at your mobile location, at your scheduled time; late arrivals may receive a shortened service.

Cancellations & rescheduling

  • Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Cancellations inside 24 hours, and no-shows, may be charged a fee or forfeit the deposit.
  • Mobile spa parties and events have their own timeline — those terms are confirmed in writing when you book.
  • Feeling unwell? Tell us and we will move your appointment — never come in sick.

Privacy & your information

  • Intake, consent and health information you share is used only to plan and perform your treatment safely.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except as needed to deliver your service or when required by law.
  • Before-and-after photos are taken and posted only with your written consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Payments are handled by our booking and payment providers — full card numbers are never stored by the spa.
  • To ask what we hold, correct it, or request deletion, email or text us and we will take care of it.
